Fiesta Latina

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with music, dancing, Latin food and more at this special annual event. Wine and beer will also be available for parents. Free with admission. 5-8 p.m. at National Aquarium.

SATURDAY

Pigtown Festival

Head to south Baltimore for a day of great food, music, arts vendors and, of course, piglet races. Free. 12-7 p.m. on Washington Boulevard.

Ryleigh’s Oysterfest

Get to shuckin’ as Ryleigh’s annual Oysterfest floods the streets of Federal Hill. Mosey from mollusk to mollusk at 10-plus raw bars, enjoy live music and arts and crafts vendors and grab a front-row seat for the sixth annual oyster shucking competition. Though the event is free, tiered tickets offer varying degrees of benefits. Tickets: Free-$120. Oct. 8-9 on Cross Street in Federal Hill.

2016 Greater Maryland Heart Walk

Take a walk for a good cause. The local chapter of the American Heart Association is hosting its annual Heart Walk, with cooking demonstrations, a dog agility course, tie dye station and a kids’ zone. Registration required. 9 a.m. at Camden Yards.

SUNDAY

Zombie Zoom $5 5K

The latest of Baltimore Recreation and Parks’ $5 5K series is Zombie Zoom. Join other undead runners/walkers in their thirst for brains—and a good run. Registration: $5. 8:30-11:30 a.m. at Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Washington Redskins

Our beloved Ravens are taking on our neighbors to the south in a hometown matchup here in Baltimore. Tickets: $89 on up. 1 p.m. at M&T Bank Stadium.
