A Night of Smart Shopping at The Shops At Kenilworth on December 8 had something for all—complimentary champagne and swag bags for parents and a visit with Santa and Train Garden for the kids!

If you haven’t had a chance to take the kids for a visit to swoon over Kenilworth’s amazing classic Train Garden, put it on your “must-do” holiday list today. The intricate garden with over 25 interactive buttons has been transfixing children in Baltimore for generations.

This year’s train garden features a seaside theme many will recognize: It starts at a seaport industrial park and transitions to a seaside village, then on to the Ocean City Boardwalk and beach with an amusement park before traveling across the inlet to Assateague Island. When you go, see who can locate the Orioles and Ravens on the garden “field”.

The Kenilworth Train Garden is open during mall hours through January 6, 2017.

About Elizabeth Heubeck

Elizabeth Heubeck, a native of Baltimore, is a former editor of Baltimore's Child and the mother of two teenagers. Currently, she spends much of her spare time wishing she was a gourmet cook (or at least a solid short-order cook), hoping the piles of laundry would disappear and, in the warmer months, battling weeds in her flower beds.
