Meet Our September Child of the Month!

Congratulations to Brandon Faison, our September Child of the Month, and a rising fifth grader at North Bend Elementary/Middle School!

Brandon recently turned 10 and wants to be an engineer when he grows up. He plays soccer, basketball and lacrosse and has earned perfect attendance at school. Team sports have taught him how to balance his time between school and the field, his mother Charlene Faison says.

Through Charm City Youth Lacrosse, Brandon has been able to participate in numerous training workshops and camps. He’s heard from college students and professionals that have matriculated through the different levels of the sport. Brandon took the lessons to heart and was named the 2017 Scholar Athlete of the Year for the U11 age group. During the award ceremony, Brandon’s coach proclaimed him to be a ‘leader for the team.’

In addition to playing sports, excelling in the classroom and being a great helper to others, Brandon enjoys racing at the Autobahn go-cart racing facility, doing science experiments with his mother, helping her cook in the kitchen and putting together Lego sets. His largest set so far has been over 1000 pieces.
