B’More Social: Sept. 14-17 Time for tons of family fun!

THURSDAY

Dining Out for Life 
Join a wide variety of area restaurants for Dining Out for Life, a city- and countywide initiative wherein local restaurants donate 25-50% of proceeds from breakfast, lunch and dinner to Moveable Feast, a nonprofit that provides nutritious meals for the sick and hungry of Baltimore and the surrounding counties.

Animal Craft Safari
Wildlife lovers enjoy a reading of Dragons Love Tacos by Adam Rubin, as well as an animal-themed craft and some time to spend with one of the zoo’s very special residents.

Circuit Board Games
Learn a thing or two about electricity while you create your own board game! Using lights and simple circuits, kids second grade and up get to design the look and layout of your their own creations. Game on!

FRIDAY

Summer Block Party
McHenry Row hosts its last Summer Block Party of the 2017 season. Kids can play cornhole and jump in the moon bounce. Parents can sip local beer from Baltimore’s own Diamondback Brewing Company and enjoy live music. Plenty of dining options will be offered from some of Charm City’s best food trucks, too. Give your summer a proper goodbye with one last outdoor hurrah!

Kid’s Night Out
Parents get a night off while their kids get a night out! Kids take in the great outdoors with crafts, animal meet-and-greets, nature games and pizza while parents enjoy some well-deserved adult time.

Screen Printing
Children in second grade and up have the chance to discover their creative side at a screen-printing workshop. Budding artists can mix their own colors and create prints to take home!

SATURDAY

Baltimore Seafood Festival
Roll up your sleeves and get crackin’ at the 4th Annual Baltimore Seafood Festival. The waterfront event features crab, crab, and more crab, naturally, as well as fresh oysters, shrimp, and ceviche—not to mention food, drink, live music and plenty of family-friendly activities. Charm City favorites Captain James Seafood Palace, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood and Nick’s Fish House will be in attendance, as well as other city eateries like Cosima and The Rowhouse Grille. Be sure to bring your bib…and appetite, of course.

Dogfest
Support the Baltimore Humane Society at one of the biggest and best events for furry friends of the year. Enjoy a walk, contests, games, dog swimming, kids’ activities and more.

Printmaking for Kids
Give your kids a chance to try their hand at authentic print-making with art instructor Debbie Hart. A visit to the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of African American History and Culture paired with take-home creations are sure to create a day to remember.

The 2017 Andrews Air Show
Gaze high in the sky at the Thunderbirds and several other fearless fliers for the 70th birthday of the United States Air Force. There will be parachuters and a jet-truck, too!

Plant Show & Sale
