The Children’s Guild, an affiliate of the TranZed Alliance, will hold its 11th annual Golf Classic on Monday, June 4, at Hayfields Country Club in Hunt Valley. The fundraiser will support the children and families served by The Children’s Guild.
The golf tournament starts with registration from 7:30 to 9 a.m., practice and continental breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. with a scramble format. Gameplay will be followed by lunch and an awards ceremony with prizes and gifts at 2 p.m. Hayfields Country Club has hosted six PGA Champions Tour events on its 7,000-yard championship golf course.
Proceeds will support The Children’s Guild’s special education schools, public charter schools and additional services for children and families. The Children’s Guild’s programs employ a cultural philosophy called Transformation Education. Following the philosophy, The Children’s Guild works to bring about social, emotional and academic growth in all children by transforming the way child-serving adults think, feel and behave.
Paul Hoyer and Jean Blosser are co-chairing the Golf Classic with presenting sponsor RMTS. A former Orioles player will also attend the event.
