If you like hanging out on the water, take it to a whole new level! Enjoy adventures in the Middle Patuxent River with new and old friends. Learn about different aspects of the river and the river’s connection to the Chesapeake Bay while creating your own treasure map, and then hunt for our buried treasure. Compete in water games and use your engineering skills to see who can build the best boat to float downstream! Go beyond river exploration with a special field trip on Thursday to the National Aquarium where we’ll enjoy watching sea turtles, dolphins, sting rays and sharks and explore ocean-based underwater worlds (included in camp fee). Bring a towel, bathing suit, closed-toe water shoes and a change of clothes and shoes.
Ages 8-11 / $177 (per child for entire camp, includes Aquarium admission).
