The whole family will have fun and learn at this exhibit while supporting the Historical Society of Baltimore County. There will be displays of historic dollhouses and trains from the HSBC collections and exhibits from the miniatures community. Come and see the miniature Baltimore row houses; complete with painted screens; intricate dollhouses both large and small with lighting, and projects made by miniature club members in various themes. Learn about skills of making miniatures and how they tie in with history. An added interest will be a Military Miniatures Display, train gardens and displays of Lego projects.
Children’s activities will include children’s workshop for a make and take miniature project.
Demonstrations by MMU miniature Club members will include a weaving demonstration by expert weaver, Leslie Mulliken and a demonstration by Logan Wilhelm on how to furnish a room in a dollhouse start to finish.
Admission- $6.00 for adults, $2.00 children 6-16, Children under six- free. Proceeds to benefit the Historical Society of Baltimore County.
