Come and marvel at “White Hall”, the 19th-century mansion selected for the 2017 Historic Ellicott City Decorators Show House. Since 1987, local decorators have been invited to design individual rooms in grand estates around Ellicott City, with very few design limitations and their imagination as a guide. This year, 17 designers will decorate 26 rooms and spaces in White Hall. Visitors will see a fantastic range of design techniques, ideas and themes. This is a must see for anyone with a passion for interior design or real estate.
In addition, virtually all of the designer’s accent pieces, furniture, rugs and individual elements are available for purchase throughout the show’s run.
Built in the 1800‘s White Hall is a three story Federal mansion with a storied history and on the National Registry of Historic Places. During the War of 1812, it was reportedly turned into a hospital for American troops and was also the home of Maryland’s 30th Governor, Thomas Ligon.
The Show House will be open every day but Monday, from September 24 – October 22:
Tues – Sat: 10 am – 4 pm
Sunday: Noon – 5 pm
