Lewis Museum is sure to be a winner. Tickets: $6 for members, $8 for non-members. 7:30 p.m. at Reginald F. Lewis Museum.

Otakon 2016

Calling all anime enthusiasts! This weekend, Baltimore is hosting the 23rd annual Otakon—the convention dedicated to all things anime. Break out that Sailor Moon cosplay and head to the Baltimore Convention Center for booths, meet-and-greets, live action screenings, talent shows and more. At-door registration: $100. Aug. 12-14 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Back-to-School Fashion Bash

Hosted by Girl’s Life magazine, this fun festival is every teen girl’s dream: a fashion show, free music, makeovers, giveaways and more. And as an added bonus, there’s performance from Disney Channel star Olivia Holt. Tickets: $0-100. 2-5 p.m. at Power Plant Live!

Weber’s Farm Peach Festival

It’s peak peach season and, lucky for us, Weber’s Cider Mill Farm is here to help. At the farm’s second annual peach festival, get ready for all things peach, along with family activities, pancake breakfast, art show and a food and ice cream booth. Free. Aug. 13-14 at Weber’s Cider Mill Farm in Parkville.

Dog Days Block Party

It’s the Dog Days of summer, so what better way to shake off that lethargy than with a free block party to honor our four-legged friends. Grab Fido and head to the block of Creative Alliance for doggy pools, art activities, face painting, wandering magicians and treats for both pets and their owners. Free. 4:30-8:30 p.m. at Creative Alliance.

Mount Vernon Marketplace is hosting its first block party. Complete with lots of street food, live music, arts and craft vendors and beer and wine (for the parents!), ParkFest is sure to be a success. The best part? It’s free! Free. 12-8 p.m. at Mount Vernon Marketplace.

Caribbean Beach Party at Power Plant Live

Another of Power Plant Live’s family fun days, this Sunday will be Caribbean-themed with family-friendly live music, food, drinks, beach games and a limbo contest. Get the best of the beach without the drive (or sand in the car). Tickets: $10-12 (includes kids meal and drink). 1-5 p.m. at Power Plant Live!
