Maldonnari Arts Festival

If your kids love sidewalk chalk, just wait until they get a load of the elaborate street art that is set to happen this weekend at the Maldonnari Arts Festival. And with live music, theater, dance, Italian food and (for the adults) wine, all we need now is for the weather to cooperate. Think sunny thoughts! Free. Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Little Italy.

Fells Point Fun Festival

The Fells Point Fun Festival is celebrating its half-century birthday this year! Join the Fells Point neighborhood for craft vendors, live music, food and beverages galore. Just maybe also pack your umbrella. Free. Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Fells Point.

Eubie Blake Cultural Center Annual Open House

Head to the Eubie Blake Cultural Center for a day of events, classes and performances. In the evening, the October gallery, “Self, Soul, + Resistance” will be opening up accompanied by a performances of music pieces and poetry. Free. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at Eubie Blake Cultural Center.

Baltimore Jazz Fest

If the Eubie Blake Cultural Center Open House isn’t enough jazz in your life this weekend, grab the family and hit up Baltimore Jazz Fest. Catch music from the Rumba Club, Art Sherrod, Jr. and the Baltimore Legends (which is, exactly as the name sounds, a supergroup of the who’s who of the Baltimore Jazz scene). Free. 12-8:30 p.m. at Druid Hill Park.

The Family Tree’s 7th Annual FamFest

Keep your kids occupied and happy on a Saturday morning with FamFest. With sports clinics, walks around the YMCA in Waverly and Lake Montebello, field games, face painting, live performances, snacks and more, it’s sure to be fun for everyone. Free. 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Weinberg Y in Waverly.

Clandestine Comics

This comic show is the longest-running in the state and includes both vintage and current comics, collectible cards, supplies, original art and more. Tickets: $3. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Timonium.
