Odd Squad Live!

This PBS kids’ favorite hits the stage with an interactive new show. Kids will help agetns Orion and Oleanna save your town from “oddness” using STEM and problem-solving skills. Tickets: $25-65. 7 p.m. at The Lyric.

Maryland Home and Garden Show

With more than 300 exhibitors, you’re sure to find all the best ideas for improving your home—and garden. And don’t miss out on Twiggy the Water-Skiing Squirrel, a major model train display and the craft show! Tickets: $3 for kids, $9 for adults. Oct. 14-16 at Timonium Fairgrounds.

SATURDAY

Baltimore Air Show

Part of the annual Maryland Fleet Week, the air show—with a finale from the Blue Angels—will take place both Saturday and Sunday and is not to be missed. These feats of aviation derring-do will surely wow the crowd. Free. 1-4 p.m. Oct. 15-16 over Fort McHenry.

Hispanic Heritage Celebration

Celebrate and learn more about Hispanic arts and culture at Port Discovery for Hispanic Heritage Month. Build your own maracas, DIY Dia de Muertos skulls, live performances and more! Free with admission. 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Port Discovery Children’s Museum.

Patuxent Wildlife Festival

Check out the awesome animal research happening right here in Maryland through animal displays, crafts, behind-the-scenes tours and research exhibits. Perfect for budding zoologists. Free. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Patuxent Wildlife Festival.

SUNDAY

The Natural World of Winne-the-Pooh

Celebrate the 90th anniversary of “Winnie-the-Pooh” with a walk through Clyburn Arboretum Association’s trails and then a look into the forest that inspired the Hundred Acre Wood. Free, but registration requested. 1-3 p.m. at Clyburn Arboretum Association.

Walk, Wonder and Create Family Tours

Get a hands-on tour of the Walters Art Museum for kids aged 6-8 (and their adult chaperones!) where kids can learn about the mysteries of the museum. Free, but registration required. 11 a.m.-12 p.m., 1-2 p.m. at Walters Art Museum.
