Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees

Hogwarts Afternoon
Grab your cauldron and cloak and hop on the Hogwarts Express to a magical afternoon! Spend your time enjoying a game of Hogwarts Bingo and making wizard crafts. Only kids need to register.  Free, but registration required. 2 p.m. at Mount Airy Branch Library.

Symphony of Lights
Forge right ahead into the festivities with Symphony of Lights, a drive-through light show featuring a mile of holiday-themed LED displays presented by the Howard County General Hospital. Also on the agenda: an ice skating rink, Twinkling Tots children’s walk and Tail Lights pet parade and costume contest. Tickets: $20 per car; additional fee for events and ice skating. Nov. 20-Jan.1, 2017.

Holiday Bazaar and Tea at The Cloisters
Local vendors descend on The Cloisters for a festive holiday mart and tasty tea party. P.S. There will also be a free gingerbread house decorating workshop for kids from the Baltimore Chef Shop! Bazaar free, tea $30. Nov. 25-26 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Christmas Village in Baltimore
Don’t let your family miss this magnificent holiday celebration right at the Inner Harbor! Enjoy an indoor and outdoor German Christmas Market adorned with twinkling lights and festive décor. Watch as they light a grand 21-foot Christmas Tree, bob your head to live choirs and drumming bands and visit more than 50 vendors selling high-quality international and local goods. And if you start to feel hungry, not to worry—gobble up some gingerbread, browse through a full menu of European foods or take a swig warm mulled wine! Outdoor area free. Nov. 26, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Don’t miss out on Allison Gregory’s adaptation of Junie B. Jones in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells! by the Maryland Ensemble Theater’s Fun Company this holiday season. This hilarious and charming tale with a message about the importance of giving will surely warm your family’s heart. Tickets: $14. Nov. 26-Jan 1, 1:30 p.m. at Maryland Ensemble Theatre.

Lewis Museum Holiday Bazaar
Embrace this gift-giving season and shop for handmade gifts made by local talented artists and craftspeople! The Nutcracker
The Classical Ballet Theatre of Maryland and L’Etoile, the Russian Ballet Academy of Maryland, is coming to Baltimore! Come see this holiday classic with your family and friends and have a night to indulge in enchanting music and graceful dances. Tickets: $17-$31.  5 p.m. at Jim Rouse Theatre.
