Music on Main Street
Reistertown’s annual outdoor concert series continues with Crushing Day.
Free. 7-10 p.m. at 33 Cockeys Mill Rd.

Feet on the Street
Towson’s weekly summer celebration returns with live music, food, drinks, a moonbounce, facepainting and more. This week’s band: Jury.
6:30-9:30 p.m. on Alleghany Avenue.

Summer Sounds at the Square
This fun, family-friendly weekly concert series has become a Baltimore classic. Enjoy food, drinks, a Kids’ Zone, vendors and more while listening to the sounds of a fantastic performer. Bonus: On select Fridays, the Bookmobile will park in the Square and offer each child a chance to select their own free book.
Fridays at Belvedere Square. 6-9 p.m. Free.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Five into this classic (and comical) Shakespearean play, featuring tragic love triangles and a world of fantasy.
July 7-23, Outdoor Meadow at Johns Hopkins Evergreen Museum and Library, 8 p.m.

Tales and Tails
This fun event is great for all ages (even parents)and features an animal story-time and meet and greet with the animals at Irvine Nature Center.

Good Vibrations
Join singer-songwriter Sue Trainor for stories, songs, rhymes, rhythm, and movement.

Family NatureSphere Night
Treat your family to a fun night of movies and a planetarium presentation.
Robinson Nature Center, 6:30-7:30 p.m., $6, Ages 5+, registration.


Maryland’s largest food truck festival, Nextival, is back and ready to dish out the latest in tastes and tones. The daylong event is the perfect way to spend a summer day, with more than 50 vendors and live music from bands like Pressing Strings and Gingerwolf (plus special kid music from Kidsinger Jim, Guava Jelly and others).
Tickets: $15, kids 12 and under free. At Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds

Day of Bubbles
Bubbles aren’t only made for outside! Come for a day full of bubbles in the library, with bubble-themed crafts, activities, and snacks.

Calling all nature-lovers! Keep your eyes out for crayfish, caddisflies, and salamanders on a fun afternoon of hiking and critter exploration.

 Wild for Water Day
Make and race mini-boats, participate in a treasure hunt, and watch cool mud science experiments at Robinson Nature Center.
