The first night of Chanukah is Tuesday, Dec. 12 and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore is hosting a series of fun and family-oriented events throughout the eight days.

Lego, Lights and Latkes
Join JCC on to help build a 12-foot menorah out of Legos, enjoy Chanukah music, and participate in other holiday activities! Tickets cost $10 per child, and $15 per adults, but early bird discounts are available before December 7. Open to all ages, this event includes pizza and latkes for dinner and separate age-appropriate activities for younger children and their families. After dinner, attendees ages 4+ will build the Lego menorah. The evening will culminate in a menorah lighting and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) for all!

Chanukah Foundry Row
Foundry Row hosts Chanukah activities, music, food and crafts. Don’t miss dreidel spinning, story time, and music for kids of all ages! Admission is free for this even, which is one of JCC’s largest seasonal events.

Hands on Holidays
The JCC, Enoch Pratt Free Library and The Ivy Bookshop host with free holiday story times with songs and crafts.  For children ages up to 5 years.

Hanna and the Moonlit Dress
Based on a classic Israeli children’s book, “Hanna’s Sabbath Dress” by Itzhak Schweiger-Dmi’el, this interactive children’s musical shares the magic of a good deed. Perfect for kids ages 2-8.

2nd Annual Chanukah Hot Chocolate 5K Race and Family Fun Run
Race to the finish for a steaming cup of cocoa!

Chanukah BrewHaHa
Chanukah is a celebration of heritage and family … and battle dreidel! This event is ages 21+.

Chanukah Wonderland
Donut decorating, arts and crafts, an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, photo booth, olive press demonstration, food for purchase and more.

Chanukah Hooplah
A free celebration of all of our coaches, featuring guest speaker, Sean Mosley, former University of Maryland basketball player and European professional player.
