Port Discovery’s Winter Break Schedule

Fend off cabin fever with this list of the activities happening at Port Discovery over the next week. The museum is closed on Dec. 24 and 25, but open the rest of the week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Saturday, Dec. 23: Learn yoga or participate in other drop-in fun.

Tuesday, Dec. 26: Make gingerbread puppets, diffusion snowflakes or learn about polar bear blubber in a day full of winter and animal-themed activities.

Wednesday, Dec. 27: More wildlife and winter-themed fun, plus a fun and imaginative play, “The Hornswoggle’s Winter Vacation.” Dance and sing along to Music from Mr. Norman.

Thursday, Dec. 28: Make gingerbread puppets, diffusion snowflakes or learn about polar bear blubber in a day full of winter and animal-themed activities.

Friday, Dec. 29: Learn about Cool Science with Eric Energy.

Saturday, Dec. 30: This day has it all – yoga, the imaginative play, “The Hornswoggle’s Winter Vacation” and Music with Mr. Norman.

Sunday, Dec. 31: Noontime New Year’s Eve celebration that features a balloon and confetti drop. Who doesn’t want to toast 2018 with milk and a cookie?

Monday, Jan. 1: Jingle Jangle Music Time and other activities will occur throughout the day.
