Ready to Rock? School of Rock the Musical holds auditions in Baltimore.

Calling all aspiring rock stars! School of Rock the Musical, a touring production based on the Jack Black movie of the same name, is looking for kids with serious skills to join the cast.

The auditions are open for boys and girls of any ethnicity aged 8-12. Boys must be able to play guitar, keyboards or drums, while girls must be able to play bass or drums. Anyone who auditions has to be able to sing, too.

Though School of Rock will be playing in Baltimore March 20-25, these auditions aren’t for the Baltimore show, but for future productions.

Kids should come with a two-minute rock song prepared, as well as headshot on hand and, in the case of those auditioning for guitar or bass, their instrument (a drum kit, keyboard, and amps will be available).

Break a leg, Baltimore!
