Halloween Happenings

Ghost walks, campfires and the Great Halloween Lantern Parade’s 20th anniversary all happen this month. Mark your calendar — it’s time to get spooked!

BALTIMORE CITY
Annual Halloween Tour of Westminster Burying Grounds and Catacombs
Continuous tours of the Hall, Catacombs and the notable Burying Grounds of Edgar Allen Poe. Oct. 31, 6-9 p.m. at Fayette & Greene streets. $5 for adults, $3 for kids. westminsterhall.org

Great Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival
This event marks its 20th anniversary. The festival begins with hayrides, lantern-building workshops and great food, all at Patterson Park, and ends with a large light-filled parade through the park, complete with floats and handmade lanterns. Oct. 26, 3:30 p.m. Free. creativealliance.org

Harbor Harvest Children’s Festival

Mount Vernon Ghost Walk

OktoBEARfest

Bennett’s Curse Haunted House

Haunted House at Valley View Farms

Spooky Stories, a Campfire and S’mores

Tricks and Treats on the Ridge

Historic Ghost Walk

HARFORD COUNTY
Halloween Hike & Campfire

Halloween Dinner Cruise Pontoon

Legends of the Fog

HOWARD COUNTY
Halloween Kiddie Hayride
Enjoy a family-friendly daytime hayride and walk through the woods and fields, passing characters from nursery rhymes and fairy tales in child-friendly costumes who will hand out candy and treats. This book festival and mini-con is perfect for authors and fans of paranormal, urban fantasy, steampunk and horror, featuring ghost tours, readings, performances, haunted ruins and an outdoor movie screening. Historic Savage Mill Ghost Tours
