Come out and hear age old stories
that have passed down for generations
regarding: Taurus the Bull, Auriga the
Charioteer, the Seven Sisters of the
Pleiades, Orion the Hunter, Lepus the
Hare, Canis Major (the Big Dog), Cancer
the Crab, and Leo the Lion. We will
look at many star clusters, nebulae, and
maybe even a few galaxies through an 18”
telescope, weather permitting. Come out
for an evening under the stars and learn
about light pollution, its effects on the
wildlife at Patuxent, and what you can do to
help mitigate it.
