Steam Returns to the Stewartstown Railroad
For the first time in nearly 80 years, Steam Power returns to the Stewartstown railroad, in the form of the Gramling Family’s Jeddo Coal saddle-tank locomotive number 85, known as “Mack”.
On the weekends of September 28/29 and October 5/6, the railroad will be using Mack to pull seven trains each Saturday, and five trains each Sunday. Trains will consist of our 1920’s Reading Passenger coach, our open-air car, and caboose, if needed.
The Saturday rides are at 10:00A, 11:00A, 1:00P, 2:00P, 3:00P, 4:00P, and 6:00P.
Our Sunday rides are at 11:00A, 1:00P, 2:00P, 3:00P, and 4:00P
Rides last approximately 40 minutes.
Tickets cost $18.00 per person, except for the 3:00 and 4:00 trains, which are only $16.00 per person. A very limited number Cab Rides are also available at $60.00 – call the station at 717-746-4998 for details and availability.

The Stewartstown Station is located at 21 W. Pennsylvania Ave, Stewartstown, PA, less than five miles from I-83 exit 4. Plenty of free parking.
