The event includes hors d’oeuvres, wine and great networking to directly benefit SIF students as they gain a solid academic foundation and learn essential personal finance and investing skills. Now in its 4th year, March Market Madness is SIF’s hallmark special event and a fun basketball/Wall Street mash-up!

The event will feature:

• Exciting Speakers – SIF Students, Alumni, Teachers, and Principals
• 50/50 Contest – Guess the S&P Closing Bell Number
• Free Throw Contest – For Stephen Curry Types
• Cornhole Contest – For Dwight Howard (Brick-Thrower) Types
• Auctions – Silent & Live

Proceeds will directly benefit the program that currently serves more than 900 students at 18schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. The 3rd March Market Madness in 2017 raised more than $36,000.

“We are looking forward to hosting an extraordinary networking opportunity for the business community that will help support Stocks in the Future and the hundreds of youths that participate and benefit from our program,” said Rebecca Lange-Thernes, the Executive Director of SIF. “SIF teaches students in under-served areas financial basics along with concepts on investing to help provide them with the financial foundation to impact their future.”
